What is Going On in Kensington?

Kensington is a northern neighborhood past Northern Liberties and northwest of Fishtown. The formerly industrial area is next to the Market-Frankford line. The working class neighborhood is experiencing an artistic rebirth along the Frankford Arts Corridor. Each year, the neighborhood hosts the Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby, a design competition and parade that rides through Kensington, Old Kensington, and Fishtown.
